Compassionate Psychiatrist /Expert in Mental Health and Wellness
Dr. Ana Suarez is a highly skilled psychiatrist dedicated to helping individuals achieve mental wellbeing. With over 23 years of experience in the field of Psychiatry started in her native country Cuba and then USA . Dr Suarez combines evidence- based treatment with patient centered approach, tailoring care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
Dr. Suarez specializes in areas of expertise including and no limited to anxiety, unipolar and bipolar depression, psychosis, etc offering a wide of pharmacology and non pharmacology interventions as well as lifestyle. Known by her patients and students for a compassionate and non judgmental approach.
Dr. Suarez earned her Medical degree in Cuba as MD from Havana Health Sciences University. Then obtain ECFMG certification in USA to complete the Residency Program in Ponce Health Sciences University. Then Dr. Suarez obtained the American Board Psychiatry and Neuology Certification in USA . Passionate about ongoing learning by attending conferences, Symposium. Dr. Suarez is affiliated to Florida State University as part of Faculty for the Department of Psychiatry since 2015 . She obtained extra mile award in 2023 for her unparalleled education that allows students to flourish in their clinical endeavors and her honorable compassion towards all humanity that provide a remarkable example for future physicians.

Is a bilingual (English Spanish) healthcare professional with a robust background in medicine, nursing, and mental health care. As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), he is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to diverse populations. His extensive clinical experience spans primary care, mental health, and community advocacy, with a focus on culturally sensitive practices that honor each patient’s unique needs and backgrounds.
David’s journey in healthcare began with his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Science Medicine Villa Clara, Cuba. He practiced as a general physician in Venezuela and Colombia, where he gained invaluable experience in outpatient care and mental health interventions. After transitioning to the United States, he pursued further education, earning an Associate Degree in Nursing from Emiraza College and a Master of Science in Nursing from Miami Regional University. He holds multistate RN and APRN licenses, enabling him to serve patients across various states.
Known for his leadership skills, adaptability, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, David has excelled in roles such as Clinical Coordinator and Supervisor. His expertise includes managing interdisciplinary teams, coordinating services for high-risk populations, and advocating for patients’ access to vital healthcare resources. He has worked extensively with clients diagnosed with autism, dementia, and psychiatric disorders, providing personalized care and support to improve their quality of life.
In addition to his clinical work, David is passionate about mentoring and inspiring others. As a supervisor, he has developed his emotional intelligence and leadership skills, motivating teams to achieve collective goals while fostering a positive and productive work environment. His ability to manage stress and resolve conflicts has been instrumental in enhancing team performance and patient outcomes.
David is a proud member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is dedicated to staying updated on the latest advancements in healthcare through continuous learning and professional development. Norialys is a dedicated bilingual (English-Spanish) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a passion for helping individuals overcome mental health challenges and lead fulfilling lives. With a deep understanding of mental health rehabilitation and community advocacy, she provides tailored therapeutic interventions that address each client’s unique needs. Her knowledge of human migrations, cultural diversity, and ethnicity enables her to offer culturally sensitive care, ensuring that every client feels heard, respected, and understood.
Known for her patience, attention to detail, and self-motivation, Norialys is committed to linking individuals with essential community resources to support their overall well-being. She combines her clinical expertise with a strong focus on advocacy, guiding clients through their mental health journeys and connecting them to the resources they need to succeed.
Norialys holds a B.S. in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She earned the Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager Supervisor (CBHCMS) and Medicaid provider as a Lead Analyst in 2022.
